Lev Cinemas<\/span><\/h1>\n

Lev Cinemas were established in 1982, providing a home in Tel Aviv for renowned films from all over the globe. The company founders, producer Izzo Shani and wife, Nurit Shani, say: \u201cFrom the very start, we believed that the Israeli audience is an engaged, demanding, audience, that loves and expects a variety of foreign films, not just Hollywood cinema. We consider it our commitment to provide such films with a home address in Israel, and such audience \u2013 with a venue to serve its taste.\u201c Today, nearly four decades later, the national cinema network as well\u00a0 as distribution house, both is ran by Guy Shani, son of Nurit and Izzo, and is continuously committed to bringing original, quality films, made by the best filmmakers in Israel And the world, offering a personal and artistic statement.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In recent years, Lev cinemas, in its capacity as a distributor, distributed a wide variety of films from around the world \u2013 funny, exciting and extraordinary. Films that stay with you for life, and others that allow a wonderful two-hour escape. Among these films is a track records of Oscar winners of the past few years (The Green Book, Moonlight, 12 Years A Slave, The Artist, Slumdog Millionaire, The King\u2019s Speech, etc.) as well as renowned, award winning, foreign films such as Cold War, Never Look Away, Ida, Son Of Saul, Shoplifters, Amour, The Salesman, A Separation, The Square and Fantastic Woman. Lev brings films by the world\u2019s most important filmmakers (Pedro Almodovar, Woody Allen, and Asghar Farhadi, to name a few), as well as funny and heartwarming hits from all over the world (\u201cPaddington\u201d, \u201cThe Little Prince\u201d) and acclaimed Israeli films (\u201cZero Motivation\u201d, \u201cGett\u201d, \u201cIn Between\u201d, “The Unorthodox”, “Foxtrot”), and many more.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Lev Cinemas are committed to providing the audience with the highest standards not only in the choice of films, but also in the quality of screen and sound standards, and in the welcoming and personal treatment by our cinema loving staff. Lev\u2019s members\u2019 club, with more than 60,000 active members, offers its members special ticket prices, exclusive screenings and monthly benefits.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Currently, the company distributes 30 films per annum, screened at nine Lev Cinema theatres around the country:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
