Take Me Home

Summary

How do you revive a little town with a shrinking population? Apparently beautiful new apartments with mountain views aren’t enough! Mayor Paul’s ambitious housing project falls flat and he’s under pressure to keep the local school from closing. Luckily, struggling singer Joe-Lynn rides into town with her two kids, desperate to find an apartment and get away from her violent ex. The mayor cynically uses her to save the school. Joe-Lynn doesn’t fit in, but she doesn’t mind. Her enthusiastic initiatives shake up the town. Despite himself, the mayor is touched by Joe-Lynn’s determination to get back on her feet. When she convinces him not to sell out to developers of a resort hotel, but instead repurpose the apartment building as government housing for single mothers like herself, Mayor Paul realizes he may have found an original solution to bring his dying little town back to life. Can they work together to make the project happen?
